A dynamic speaker and presenter, Felicia Hall leaves her audiences with
a feeling of significance and purpose that can only be emanated by one
who has lived her message. Currently President and CEO of Felicia Hall &
Associates, a motivational speaking and consulting company, Felicia is
living her dream of helping others to see the possibilities that exist
within and around them in order to maximize their potential. In one of
her consulting capacities Felicia serves as Executive Director of
Leadership America North Carolina, a statewide women’s leadership
organization that educates, connects and empowers women leaders to
improve North Carolina communities.
Felicia has captured a huge audience
and made a name for herself as a compelling and energetic presenter. She
brings unique depth to specialties of leadership, management, team
building, organizational development, executive coaching, and
networking. Felicia’s emergence on the speaking circuit has raised the
bar for corporations, teams, and individuals aspiring to develop
world-class winning traits. Now one of the premier resources for
business leadership, she has shared her blue-chip advice and expertise
on how to turn potential into performance for key sports, community and
business leaders at Wachovia, Coca-Cola Consolidated, the NCAA, the
United States Olympic Committee and several not-for-profit
organizations.
Felicia remains a member of the New
Jersey State Bar and a dedicated member of the Charlotte community.
Recently, she was selected by the Charlotte’s Business Journal as of the
“Top 40, Under 40”. In addition she was honored by a Child’s Place as
one of the “First Ladies of Charlotte” and recognized by The Charlotte
Post Publishing Company as a “Person of Prominence.” Miss Hall currently
serves on the boards of the Hornets Nest Girl Scouts Council, the Black
Women in Sport Foundation and Women Executives for Community Service.
She is a member of the Charlotte Mecklenburg Community Building
Initiative Leadership Team; the YMCA of Greater Charlotte’s Diversity
Task Force and is active with the Charlotte Chamber and United Way. She
is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
A native of Shreveport, Louisiana,
fervor and determination enabled Felicia to earn a basketball
scholarship to the University of Iowa, a program that consistently
ranked among the nation’s best under the tutelage of Hall of Fame Coach
C.Vivian Stringer. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a
degree in elementary education and teaching fifth grade in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, Felicia earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa,
College of Law. She would go on to intern with the National Collegiate
Athletic Association in Kansas City, MO before heading to Atlanta to
work the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
Both Felicia’s resolve and enthusiasm
enabled her to excel as manager for NIKE’s ® women’s basketball sports
marketing division, where her job was to create an explosion of growth
in girls basketball in North America. In addition, she was also
responsible for overseeing women’s college and pro basketball. Drawing
on her talents, experiences and goal consciousness, Felicia combined her
love for law and basketball becoming Director of Business Operations and
later Vice President of Team Operations for the WNBA Charlotte Sting.
Her leadership style and business savvy helped guide the Charlotte Sting
from the league’s second worst record to the second best team as WNBA
Eastern Conference Champions in just two seasons.
Felicia’s gift for igniting one’s
passion and her ability to convey a sense of urgency among her listeners
causes even the casual observers to pause and take note
